Re: Confirmation on how long HS^2 will presumably be going.
Three-to-five years of one update a month. Wowie. What a great use of Kate's and everybody else's time and energy. Clearly a worthy successor to the modern-day epic that was Homestuck the First. assuming an average of 24 pages a month (low estimate, the first update was 32 pages), that is a minimum...

Re: NEW TOBLERONE
makin found more than one? That is a bit... obsessed maybe? Maybe he just got lucky. From my understanding, the toblerones are hidden in batches, not individually, and makin found a whole bag, and took two so he could give one to someone else who tried and failed to find them. ^ there were three to...

Re: NEW TOBLERONE
Also why is hussie wasting precious budget going to freaking japan? Surprised there are more of these after the start of HS^2. this was one of the taiwan toblerones found by makin. he said he would re-hide them in a couple months. it's still magic as confirmed by hussie but it isn't new or hidden b...

Re: Unpopular Opinions Thread
the epilogues were good. everything in them was a logical development of each character’s personality given their individual circumstances. dirk’s transphobia was exactly the kind of thing you’d expect from an authoritarian cis dude who was actively battling someone at the time and thus didn’t immed...

Re: I hate the whole "canon discussion" the series has taken
There's definitely a disconnect, I don't think "Curative" and "Transformative" are the correct words though, plenty of people who fall into the former category make transformative works as well such as fanfiction or fan stories or what have you. Maybe "Intellectual" and "Emotional" would be better ...

Re: I hate the whole "canon discussion" the series has taken
......hmmmm, i just thought of something. is it possible there's a disconnect between people who view their fandom engagement as "curative" (essays, analysis, endless bickering about what exactly went down in act 7) vs those who view it as "transformative" (who gives a shit what officially happened ...

Re: I hate the whole "canon discussion" the series has taken
Obviously official work is going to have the most weight for the larger community, but it doesn't have to. You can think literally whatever you want about Homestuck and if it's satisfying for you then hell yeah. yeah!!!!! especially with the epilogues, because theyre SO divisive within the fandom, ...

Re: I hate the whole "canon discussion" the series has taken
I don't care anymore if it's "not canon" or not, you're still subjecting those characters I've grown to like, love and hate into stupid fucking scenarios that I woudn't wish over anyone. Reading the epilogues was nothing but pure torture, and I don't care how "good" those epilogues are, the implica...

They are also using a very clean arstyle. Hell in this case the entire update used dat artstyle rather than the sprite like panels. yeah! i mean jesus, look at these two panels and tell me which one took longer https://homestuck2.com/assets/panels/0040.gif https://www.homestuck.com/images/storyfile...

Alt!Callie x Aranea
everyone’s favorite dirk-hating narrative-meddling god-complex girlfriends! or just mine? who knows for those unacquainted with this ship: the basic premise is that both aranea and altcallie have attempted (to various degrees of success) to control the narrative of homestuck to achieve their own pla...
