Re: 612 User Giveaway! + Site Patreon

For me, it's Dave Strider. His style of humor is relatable to mine, and I was a fan of the SBaHJ comics (they were among the funniest moments in Homestuck for me). I'm a sucker for intentionally bad jokes, memes and other "train wreck" humor, and seeing something as poorly made as SBaHJ was an exper...

Re: What Was Your First Upd8, and How Do You Feel Your Point of Entry Has Influenced Your View on the Comic?

I started reading Homestuck exactly 1 year after it ended, although I've had brushes with it in 2012. The first time I read it, I remember being really excited for [s] cascade, and all of the stuff that went down in it. As much as I like to shit on act 6, there are actually quite a few good points i...

I'm another one to say Problem Sleuth. Overall, Homestuck is still my favorite mspa, but on the other hand, Problem Sleuth has an ending that actually left me feeling content and satisfied :andrew:

Re: Unpopular Opinions Thread

I actually think early A5A1 is kind of slow and boring. Going from [S] Descend and all the crazy things the beta kids had to go through to a new set of characters I have little investment in yet is kind of jarring. I don't think it's bad, or even mediocre, but when compared to the crazy things we se...

Re: Homestuck Positivity Thread!!

Homestuck is overall a pretty great comic. I've read it twice, and am currently on my third(fourth?) "reread", as I'm watching RevScarecrow's let's read of Homestuck, and watching the voxus lets read while I wait for new instances of the former. Lately I've grown an appreciation for the early parts ...

Re: Favorite [S] Page?

I have a lot of favorite [S] pages with not really any of them taking precedence over another. Those include [S] Jade: Pester John, [S] Jack: Ascend, [S] Descend, [S] Cascade, and [S] End of A6I1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duHL0MvtcXM&feature=emb_title https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwuo1yH5DH...

Re: The Vast Error Thread

I'm a bit of a sucker for Vast Error. The story's got it's flaws and all, but something about both the trolls, and the world they live in really captures me. The art style is beautiful in my opinion, and the characters are fun to see. Excited to see where it goes in the future, keep up the great wor...

Re: What's your favorite season?

I live near a mountain range with lots of pine forests, and they look absolutely gorgeous during the dead of winter. I'm gonna have to say Winter's my favorite season as of right now. Nothing beats a cloudy winter's day, light snow falling, and everything's all quiet and cozy looking. Rainy days dur...

https://www.scoobandshag.com/ Scoob and Shag, so damn good. It's like JoJo but stupider and it just keeps getting better Just read it today, and I gotta agree it's really good. It starts out kinda silly and slow, but by page 40, my eyes were glued to the screen, anticipating each page with childish...

Re: PODCAST Recommendations!

I gotta recommend Let Me Tell You About (LMTYA), featuring Tad "Homestuck" Becker and his co-host Aleks. Most of their podcasts are just them goofing around, talking about different video games, life stories, how homestuck has ruined Tad's life and other "nerdy" things. They also have a DnD podcast ...

Re: how was your day?

My day's been pretty good if a little slow, went to the swim center earlier, and now I've been up all night playing around with flash 8. I'm still learning the basics, but I hope to eventually put together some [S] pages for my comics.

Re: What was your primary fandom pre-homestuck?

Hoo boy, before Homestuck I was one of them bronies. I was active on a few MLP reddit communities from 2014-16, then I gradually lost interest in the show, was introduced to Homestuck(and later, MSPFA) and began making fancomics. I think I'll be in the Homestuck club for a long time to come still, p...

Re: Introductions Thread: A Brave New World

Hello! I am LudicrousFalcon (aka FalconHawk5 or just "Falcon"). I began reading Homestuck in April of 2017 after my gf convinced me to. I finished it in September, and shortly after I began getting involved in MSPFA. I am active in the MSPFA discord, and I currently make the fanadventures "Eartherni...
