You have awoken from a deep slumber on a floor of cold stone. You have no recollection of how you got here, or who you are. All you can remember are nightmares - darkness, pain, and fire, an unflinching eye endlessly molesting every inch of your fragile psyche while a million angry demons consume your flesh. Your pain is eternal, your body reborn into a cycle of misery and torment. All identity is stripped away before the suffering. No ego, no sense of self can save one from such horrible damnation.

This is the first time you can remember being awake since the nightmares began. Your head is still foggy, but you feel something stirring... an intense desire, deep within the recesses of your mind... you feel...

HUNGRY.

What do you do?

You cannot recall a shred of identity... whenever your inner gaze reflects the past, a storm of plasma erupts and disrupts the thoughts. The world dies away and you become pain. The memories have been replaced with nightmares.

Another nightmare rears its head. A vague memory appears, but it is no solace - the memory is of a society, collapsing under its own weight. The recalled memory will no doubt go on to fuel further nightmares.

Now that your eyes are open, you begin to take in some of the room. You believe the apple brand macbook belongs to you, and the pant as well. You contemplate getting dressed - yet with nobody else around, the shame of nudity has not yet settled in.

The macbook has been activated. The screen looks odd.

The screen is severly damaged. Visibility on this device is limited. Regardless, you press on in the hopes of discovering something about your identity, beyond the blistering pain of the nightmare realm. Without an internet connection you will only be able to read previously downloaded messages.

You can barely make out any words because of where the window spawned. The hunger in your mind continues to gnaw...

YOU HAVE EATEN, BUT YOU HAVE NOT CONSUMED.

You have weight. You are suffering. You have flesh. You begin the ancient tradition again, and succumb to the nightmares as you consume yourself for the first time of the night.

The nightmares are long and vicious - you will not awaken for another age...

Elsewhere, a hunter stalks its prey through the woods...

It finds a clue - evidence pointing towards the hunter's query...

Its destination: the Temple of Beelzebub. Inside the temple, the hunter's prey hides. A Child of Sin, spawn of Gluttony, with the power to devour the world.

The hunter aims to slay the Demonspawn, but first must get past a demonic sentry by the door.

How does the hunter make its way past this adversary?
