Discuss the best exile!
What happened to him is so completely illegal, whoever committed that heinous crime should be thrown into the slammer. (Slammer is what you call jail when you're extra angry at crimes.)

Oh man remember the time they made AR taste the pain?
why were the exiles and noir the best parts of homestuck
to be fair they were the most interesting to me
also i imagine because the storytelling in their parts is structured traditionally in the sense that you're only exposed to narrative that matters. The rest of homestuck is giant chunks of text that have relevance in showing how those characters interact, but a lot of it doesn't contribute to the flow of the story. It becomes tedious pretty quick to me.
When you're exposed to the carapacians, they strictly talk in second person with indirect dialogue. You can't write long conversations with this structure if you want your story to be understandable. Thus, the story is given "bare meat", with just what you need to understand the characters, their motives, and what's happening. Y'know, a regular story
And that's why I think the carapacian parts are the best
Also AR is great and Huss did him dirty by making lil Hal have the exact same initials

I absolutely agree on all of those points. The Exiles and the Carapaces in general are free from the bloat that is the way dialogue is written in Homestuck, and I honestly think the dialogue is probably the worst part of Homestuck in later parts due to how difficult it is to read some of the Trolls' typing quirks and how many unnecessary tangents the characters fall into after Act 5 Act 2.
