Prototype a gun.

Those imps won't stand a chance against a living, breathing conventional firearm!

Only issue with gun prototype is the fact that in case of pre-entry, all the imps will now have guns. (post entry gunsprite might be neat for a while, but will likely get outclassed by whatever upgrades you might attain later)

As for what I'd prototype, I'd probably go for something on the strategic weakening end, like a bar of chocolate, or a pillow.
If limited to the doomed/dead, I'd chuck a potted plant at it.
If its for the sake of saving the 2nd slot for a potential emergency self prototype, I'd likely go with something that would be cool to merge with personally. In this case, I'd toss in my plush temporic horns hat. Like sure, it would give the imps better timing and plush horns, but then I'd be able to get better timing and plush horns too.

Anyway I'd probably do my childhood bunnyplush, so yeah

I'd rip both arms off of a doll and then throw it in. Otherwise if my coplayer already did that, I'd prototype it with something really cool/badass, and then throw my dreamself into it so that when I go god tier I'd get combined with the other thing I prototyped.
