Different mother grubs are cared for my different jadebloods. but do all mother grubs (and by extention, all jadebloods that raise them) have the same kind of horns?

The only other known mother grub has plain horns with no hook. So they can have different horns, just like trolls.

To be clear, though, looking after the mother grub is the responsibility of all jade bloods. Kanaya is a rarity in that she got her own virgin mother grub lusus: in fact that's "an event so rare as to elude documented precedent" - she's literally the only one in recorded history.
