If the mistakes are intentional, could this be related to Candy technically not being the "canon" timeline, considering John never went back and killed LE in it?

Maybe a side-effect of losing canonicity is inconsistency in events?

I think part of it might be some interloper making edits to the timeline for their own means. I think the first change is Jake returning to june for spyboi reasons.

AMybe it is both the nature of the timeline and medium presented? Like what if the timeline being presented as a comic is somehow overriding it? Or even maybe inside of its 'prison' it can still split off into alternate timelines?
